Neil McManus
Neil McManus is the founder and Chief Executive of SiS. Neil has worked in the London insurance market for over 30 years specialising in Professional Indemnity Claims. He has experience of both claims and underwriting in this Class which has enabled him to provide Claims Managers and Underwriters alike with an excellent and uniform quality of service. Until May 2012, Neil was the Managing Director of DCS, a claims management company which he started in 1998 and developed into a multi-million pound operation established on four continents. Following a change in direction by the company, Neil left DCS to create SiS and provide a range of quality insurance services to the industry.
Richard Bedford
Richard Bedford joined SiS in December 2012 having previously worked with Neil McManus at DCS and prior to that Syndicate 657 at Lloyd’s. Richard has over 20 years’ experience in dealing with professional indemnity insurance claims for a wide range of professions, including but not limited to surveyors, solicitors, IFAs, architects, engineers and insurance brokers. He has experience of working for major insurance companies and the Lloyd’s market. Richard has extensive mediation expertise and has presented cases for clients and also attended mediation as an insurer’s representative. He has excellent knowledge of the Pre-Action Protocols relevant to professional indemnity claims and is experienced in dealing with all aspects of claims prior to, and during, the course of litigation. Richard has conducted numerous Coverholder claims audits both in the UK and overseas.
